Café Pacifico has once again made waves at Taste of London 2025, bringing its signature flair, authentic Mexican spirit, and a refreshing cocktail lineup that has left festivalgoers buzzing. Nestled in the heart of Covent Garden, Café Pacifico is no stranger to the spotlight, and this year’s menu at the iconic food and drink festival was a colourful celebration of agave spirits, fresh ingredients, and tropical vibes.
Their standout offering, the Frozen Watermelon Margarita, is a crowd-pleasing, award-winning blend that lives up to the hype. Crafted with Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver Tequila, this cocktail features fresh watermelon, lime, mint, agave nectar, pomegranate, and a rim of Tajín chilli powder. Served frozen with an extra splash of tequila, it’s the ultimate summer cooler — fruity, spicy, and dangerously moreish.
For those seeking a tropical twist, the Frozen Tequila Piña Colada was another star. Made using Hacien Blanco Tequila, this take on the classic combines pineapple tequila, lime, coconut, and spiced Pacifico agave nectar with a Tajín rim for a gentle kick. It’s a smooth, creamy dream of a drink with an unmistakably Mexican heart.
Citrus lovers found a favourite in the Paloma, a zesty concoction built with Ocho Blanco Tequila, fresh lime, pink grapefruit, and agave nectar, topped with Three Cents Pink Grapefruit Soda and a pinch of Maldon sea salt. This is a sophisticated, effervescent refresher that delivers the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and sour.
No Café Pacifico menu is complete without their Classic Pacifico Margarita, a timeless staple. Made with El Pandillo Tequila Blanco, fresh lime, and agave nectar, it’s served on the rocks and finished with Maldon sea salt — a testament to the art of simplicity done right.
The mezcal cocktails were equally compelling, led by the Mezcarita. This smoky delight uses Ojo de Dios Mezcal Joven paired with fresh lime, agave nectar, and Tajín chilli powder, creating a bold and earthy drink served over ice. For a fruitier variation, the Mango Mezcarita combines the same mezcal with mango, adding a juicy, tropical layer to the smoke and spice profile.
Rounding out the menu was the Passion Fruit Mojito, a Caribbean twist using Chairman’s Reserve Spiced Rum. With mint, lime, passion fruit, and agave nectar, this drink delivered a flavour-packed, rum-fuelled escape from the London bustle.
Alongside the cocktails, Café Pacifico also served Mexican beers, non-alcoholic options, and fresh lemonade, ensuring something for everyone.
Backed by premium brands like Altos Tequila, Reina Negra, and Cholula Hot Sauce, and topped with ingredients like Tajín and Maldon Sea Salt, Café Pacifico’s stall was a masterclass in flavour, tradition, and flair. It was more than a bar — it was a celebration of Mexican heritage, expertly bottled and beautifully poured.
Taste of London 2025 just wouldn’t have been the same without Café Pacifico — and neither would summer.
